Pratteln, Bahnhofstrasse A new district is emerging
Part of the “Pratteln Mitte” city center, Bahnhofstrasse is an important connection between the railway station and the historic center. The canton of Basel-Landschaft and the parish of Pratteln-Augst, in close coordination with the municipality of Pratteln, are working together to develop the area around Bahnhofstrasse and St. Jakobstrasse.
One component of the plan is the construction of a new Swiss Post building, which will be used for residential purposes in future. On the ground floor, the Swiss Post branch and other public-access facilities will broaden the building’s use.
