We have around 1,000 staff across Switzerland, who take care of Swiss Post’s entire real estate management. This includes portfolio management, administration and maintenance, development and construction, and facility management as well as technical, commercial and infrastructural building management.
Our real estate portfolio, unique in Switzerland, includes both state-of-the-art new logistics buildings and historical buildings from the 18th century. With our “casa verde” initiative, we are making a significant contribution to achieving Swiss Post’s climate targets.

Our collective employment contract (CEC) not only includes six weeks’ holiday and a Half Fare Travelcard or a contribution towards the GA Travelcard, but also covers important aspects such as equality, work-life balance and very attractive benefits for parents-to-be.
For example, as of 1 January 2023, staff will benefit from the following:
- Maternity leave of 18 weeks, and up to six additional weeks of unpaid leave possible
- Paternity leave of four weeks, and up to four additional weeks of unpaid leave possible

- The right not to be reachable outside regular working hours
- Comparable pay for comparable work
And if both parents work at Swiss Post Group, they can – subject to the statutory minimum week requirements – combine their maternity and paternity leave with all paid and unpaid weeks and freely divide the available time between themselves.
